A little while ago, I visited a restauant named Kajahu in the center of Budapest. It is located only a few hundred meters from the most popular shopping street in town named Vaci utca, but it is still hidden away from the crowds. But, once you get on the inside, you will quickly discover that this is a modern and trendy place worth consdering during your visit in Budapest.
In Kajahu, you will find cheap daily menus available, and they are both healthy and tasty. What might be confusing in the start is the fact that all your orders are placed through a tablet next to where you sit. As a result, you don't place your order with a waiter, but you add all the information about what you want through the application, and place your order. A while later, the waiter is coming with whatever you decided to order. And if you get thirsty, just click the selected drinks in the app, and you will soon get the floating material delivered to the table.
During my stay in Kajahu, I did not order from the normal menu, but instead I had a daily lunch menu. It delicious, and I like how they serve dishes not so typical for the Hungarian kitchen. As a result, this is an ideal place to have a lunch if you just want to taste something new, something interesting, soething that will make you full, but without making you spend a lot of money. So, for approximately 5 Euro you will get a very nice lunch.
What is the conclusion? Kajahu is a great place for a delightful and somewhat different lunch in Budapest!
