Just off the main street of Mersin city, this little restaurant offers traditional Turkish food and dessert.

Eating by the bazaar
We picked a seat just on the outside of the restaurant facing the bazaar shops. It was nice and protected by a plastic sheet wall.
Delicious like home
The food options were quite simple as you can pick from the cabinet. As we were with a local friend, we trusted him to order for us.
3 Course Lunch
First we had a soup for entree. It was a lentil soup served with bread and a lemon wedge. Had all the right flavours to start our lunch meal
Then we had our mains, which consisted of rice and chickpeas, baked beans in tomato soup, and a stew. Everything tasted really good.
Lastly, we had a unique Alanyandessert made from pumpkin. It had tahini and chopped up walnuts on top. It was sweet and just the right sized portion to finish our lunch meal.
Price
Overall for three people, we paid 75 Liras. It was a great and filling meal, so we would definitely come back.
