Hola Foodies!!
We are having long weekend here, And yesterday we didn't want to cook anything for dinner. So we went to one of the Indian restaurant that we have never been there before.
Yeah, this Indian restaurant called Curry On.
They normally serve buffet as well, but last night was not available. At first we felt dissapointed, we were actually looking for buffet.
It's quite big restaurant, and it's clean, the most important thing.
I can say, this restaurant become my favorite Indian restaurant in town! the food was perfectly excellent! and the smell of the Indian spice...oh God....you can smell it even before you are just in front of their door before you get in, Lol.
Oh! let's get to the food...
It was only two of us, my hubby and I.
We had Chicken Curry, Lamb Kadhai, Garlic Naan Bread plus rice.
Ok, lemme explain them one by one...
First, I'd like to tell you all. This is what I ordered, Lamb Kadhai. I didn't know what was Kadhai means, Lol but when I read the menu it says boneless pieces of meat cooked with green chilies, tomatoes green peppers, onions and ginger and garnished a dash of lemon juices and a creamy butter-tomato sauce. You know...I didn't think so long when it comes to lamb and chilies, Haha I'm from SouthEast Asian, what you can do?...
Oh...I was so speachless to this Lamb Kadhai, It was the best Indian Food I ever had, if I can say...
The perfect combinations of nice and tender lamb meat and its creamy spicy sauce, I'll never have enough, seriously...
I'll always come back and pay this meal for $15 CAD/portions.
And their Curry also is the best Indian Curry I ever had, They are spicy and creamy....
This was my hubby ordered actually, I try some of his gravy...
and, really! the best curry that I ever had in town.
This curry cost $13 CAD/portions.
It's really worth to pay!
Who doesn't like Naan bread?
These are the "Must Have" meal whenever we go to an Indian restaurant. Actually I prefer the regular Naan Bread, but last night we tried the Garlic one, and it was pretty good, and the smell of the garlic would make anyone hungry, I believe.
The price is pretty avarage, the food was EXCELLENT!
and the service was TOP, super friendly staff.
It's a very welcoming place with the offers of a good variety fresh Indian food.
VERY RECOMMENDED for whoever lives close by, must try!
