Because I can make my own pizzas at home. I find that pasta and the sauce needed a longer time to cook and monitoring the fire heat too.
TONG HING is a grocery store famous for selling imported goods, recently TH opened a new branch that sells frozen foods and also pasta in their Pasta Station, inside the shop. All halal.
It is a sit-down counter cafe, right in front of us we can see the cooks blanch the pasta and prepare the sauce.
They also sell meats like chicken, smoked duck, fish (all raw Fillet, marinated). There are also pre-deep-fried foods like onion rings, wedges, fries and hash browns.
THE MENU in the Pasta Station offers 4 types of pasta: spaghetti, linguine, fusilli and penne. The sauces available are:
- CARBONARA with Smoked Duck
- BEEF Bolognese
- CHICKEN Bolognese
- TOMYUM Cream with Shrimp
- SPICY Cream with Seafood
TOM YUM CREAM WITH SHRIMPS
The Tom Yum Cream is definitely a fusion creation. Tom Yum is spicy and sour, but adding cream to it had made it richer. The Shrimps were quite big and fresh.

CARBONARA WITH SMOKED DUCK
The smoked duck with Carbonara is really really fireworks in my mouth. You really have to try it yourself. The creamy texture compliments the smoked duck and the pasta.
Each pasta bowl only costed us RM8.90 and RM11.90 respectively.
