Sunnyside Kitchen and Café

Hello, good sunny day to all Steemians. This post is to review for blind dates. I'm sure gentleman wouldn't get mbarrassed to bring a lady here. Ladies wouldn't be shy to suggest Sunnyside Kitchen and Café.

Sunnyside is a new restaurant established, with beautiful artworks, charming furnitures and a vast variety of healthy food choices in the Menu.

The Menu

The main entrée comes with a side, you may choose. You customize your meal by selecting your side and sauces, too.

With purchases of main entrée, you will get 20% discount off the coffee price. That is very thoughtful and strategic, getting customers to order main entrée. The prices were, personally, reasonably. No overpriced coffee or in kind.

The restaurant is air-conditioned, every table has a vase of flower and every seat has a table mat.

The restaurant installed beautiful lighting like Chandeliers. The artworks include glitter fabric collage, Islamic calligraphy and many canvases arts. They really do make the talk of the customers there, especially first dates. My favourite was the one behind the counter - glitter collage.

You have to order and pay immediately. That is really convenient because you can stay there and talk with your date as long as you want. Maybe first date should be paid by the gentleman, but never omit the fact that some ladies do want to pay for their own meals. (Convenient to pay first because you wouldn't want a waiter/waitress to look at you awkwardly as who pays for the meal.)

Canvases on the wall are cheerful to the eyes. You and your blind date might talk about the travelling that you've been to, recently.

The beautiful artworks and chandelier! Below them, it is the chiller displaying goodies! After the main meal, how nice it would be to share a delightful sweetness between you both.

Gorgeous cakes selection they offer here. The prices are quite high but perhaps the baker uses good quality ingredients.

The overall outlook of Sunnyside Kitchen And Café. We decided to place order after admiring the new establishment.

Our Selections

1. Grilled Chicken Burger plus the side, French fries.
RM10.90
Cream cheese dripping, wow... We call that "krim keju meleleh"... That's what we're here for, rich and generous cream on top of a chicken patty. The buns were even toasted warmly... So delish!

2. Grilled Chicken Salad plus side, steamed veggie


The wonderful salad consisted of lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, tossed in Saad dressing with drops of mustard at the side. Really a healthy combination that I didn't have to compromise my diabetic diet!

3. Boneless Chicken Tenders plus side, toast bread - RM10.90

Yummy, I never thought a simple chicken tenders could be so yummy! The presentation was magnificent. One comment about the dish, was the toast were hardened when arrived our table.

4. Strawberry Milk RM5.90
The drink was Fragrant with strawberry essence and the milk was very nice combo.

Aromatic coffee brewed was perfect for my taste buds.

Before and after meals, we can wash our hands at this water station, as I said, what a thoughtful restaurant.

I really like the big artwork and also the little pots of green. They really show the Sunnyside of their restaurant.

I went there with my son, @flyingkittie, and he's also lovin' it because there was a TV showing Avenger Infinity Wars, it's like having lunch at home. 😁
