Hello, Tasteemians! I really miss you all! I had been Tasteem-less for almost a WEEK! The whole week was school holiday and I did replacement classes and extra classes, super busy!

Today I'm going to do a review of a very famous Japanese restaurant, which is not fast food, situated in the heart of our city Centre of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo.

After perusing the menu, we (my son and I) finally chose:

1. Chicken Teriyaki Bento Set
2. Salmon Bento Set

Chicken Teriyaki Bento Set (RM19. 90/USD5.00)

Wow, this was delicious. There was a fried chicken chop filled, breaded and fried, salad was generously placed together. The set also came with a bowl of tempura (vegetable fritters), they were fresh the sweet. They gave a complimentary chilli sauce, soya sauce and a bowl of soup. The quality of the food was 10/10.

Salmon Bento Set (RM19.90/USD5.00)

I loved this set as it had macaroni in mayo, stewed beef, grilled salmon with veggie and a bowl of miso soup. The mixed vegetables was stewed as well. A wholesome meal indeed. I felt suddenly healthy.

Besides those, we ordered also an iced green tea, shared among us.

Then before we leave, they were very polite that they served us egg pudding jelly.
