My first tasteem review of an Indian restaurant in HCM, Vietnam.
To be honest, this is the first time I've been to an Indian restaurant in this country. So, when my colleagues suggested to have indian cuisine for lunch, I was totally excited. It was a breath of fresh air since indian cuisine was never in my list of want to eat food in this country.
Located right in the heart of District 1, the little restaurant wasn't something that you would notice at plain sight. However, it was located near to the famous Park Hyatt Hotel, one of the most reputable hotels in this city.
Walking into the restaurant and having the scent of indian spices all over the place was just excellent! I so miss the smell of indian spices and Bollywood music & decorations all over the walls. The table setting and decorations feels just so much like home.
Since this restaurant was recommend by a fellow colleague who frequents this diner, she took the lead to order the appertisers and main dishes for all of us. For drinks, we chose what we each preferred. I went for Mango Lassi of course.
Looking through the menu, I saw many of my favorite dishes from back home. Aloo Gobi, Chicken Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Rassam and so many more.
For the options of bread, some selected plain naan and capati while I opted for garlic naan. Eating with dhall gravy and chicken masala was like heaven for me. I helped myself to 3 pieces of naan before finally putting my stomach to rest. almost naturally, I ate using my fingers, which is the best way to enjoy this meal.
Definitely a fullfiling meal !
Unfortunately, it was also the last time we dine together as a team. Few days after that, we received news that 3 of our team members were released from their roles in the organization due to restructuring.
So much for enjoying the time we have together.

Ure so right.. we're so exposed to food all over the world in one nation that we don't need to travel around the world to enjoy it.
