벌써 지지난 주말이었네요. 딸이 오랜만에 인도 커리 먹고 싶다고 해서 집에서 가까운 델리 커리로 왔습니다. 이게 쉽게 먹을 수 있는 요리는 아니었지만, 요즘에는 찾는 사람들이 있어서인지 가까운 곳에서도 인도 음식점들이 있더라구요. 세상은 조금씩 좋아지고 있는 거 같아요.
늘상 먹던 버터통감자 비프커리로 주문을 했어요. 나중에 다시 보니 신메뉴가 나왔더라구오. 알았더라면 그걸로 시켜볼 것을... ㅠㅠ
저녁 시간대가 막 지나서 사람들이 거의 다 나가고 없었습니다. 덕분에 조용하고 편안하게 딸과 오붓한(?) 시간을 보내며 커리를 기다리고 있었지요.
역시 커리는 우리를 실망시키지 않아요. 소고기도 마음에 들고요. 사진은 못찍었지만, 커리에 찍어먹는 난이 인도 요리의 백미가 아닐지... 저한테는 그래요. ㅎㅎㅎ
여기에서는 구강청정제도 제공을 하고 있어요. 커리가 향이 강하기 때문에 먹고 나면 입에서도 향이 남아 있죠. 이게 입냄새와 섞이면, 주변 사람들에게 불쾌감을 줄 수 있습니다. 다행히 구강청정제가 있어 커리를 먹고 바로 입안을 깨끗이 할 수 있어서 좋았어요. 상쾌한 마음으로 집으로 다시 돌아와서 즐겁게 놀았다는 후문이...
