Super Worthwhile Thai Dinner

This Chinese New Year family gathering, we chose to have it in this famous Thai restaurant situated in Butterworth. This restaurant has two branches, one in Penang island and another one in Cheras (if not mistaken). Yet, we still prefer to go to this original where they serve fast and quality Thai food. Not only that, the space available the spacious and not too crowded with good ventilation. Of course, you will still sweat if you are not good in handling spicy food. Anyhow, it is truly one enjoyable meal there. From 6-6.30 pm is the best time to come and get your place, but you can also book a place too. At that time, you get your food fast and quality too. Basically it feels like you are eating fast food.

Going through their menu while the waiter introduce some good stuff for us.

The first dish served, simple fried egg with onions. Always love how they fried it and the overall taste and smell of it.

Baby Kailan stir fried with garlic and oyster sauce.

Fried squid, not that good as I think it is pre-fried.

Then here comes our favourite, the Tomyam Kung with seafood. This is one of the best tomyam we could find in Malaysia (literally). If you are finding for thick and super flavored tomyam, here is the place to go.

The pandan chicken were good too.

Last but not least, the steam fish with lemon soup.

Scooping the soup and rice for family members. A good interactive activity before starting to eat. Oh ya, have to mention that their dessert are not worthwhile though. Can try but I think a group can share and not taking one on one.

Overall, I would come back for the tomyam as I am one big lover of the taste of it.
