Amulet Cafe started off as a home business selling various types of tarts but their business went well enough that they have decided to open a brick and mortar business to expand their food empire.
This cafe is located in Brunei in a quiet area and those who eat here are drawn to this place by its reputation.
The dark walls give it that premium look. The number of tables in the main eating area is not that big and just enough for around perhaps 5 tables at most.
This is the man of the day. He's quite nice and patient.
The menu
Affordable but portion size is enough for 3/4 of your stomach.
Curly fries
Taste just like the ones served at Mc Donald's. It is not that oily and the paper beneath does some of the work by removing oil.
Coffee Latte aka milk coffee
The aroma is definitely there and this cup of coffee is something to crave for.
Mei Chi (my wife's friend), Janice (My Wife), Frina (my sis in law)
The cheesy pizza
This needs some improvement. After tasting loads of pizzas, this pizza trolled me by confusing my tastebuds. It should have been slightly sour and salty but it's sweet to an extend. Sweet pizzas? Overall, still palatable and there is room for improvement.
Honey Glazed Chicken Wing
Buttermilk Chicken Rice
Ordered by Mei Chi
It doesn't look appetizing to me. haha.. Nevetherless, it may taste good. However, this place is quite popular among the locals here in Brunei and their egg tarts are the best things that you have ever tasted. I think this place still have lots of room to improve.
