Phố Thành - The first restaurant join this contest

It's hard to select the best restaurant of the year to join the contest, I see this contest last week but I'm not joining because I have too many restaurants want to share and all the restaurants are very good, so I decide I will introduce only one restaurant for one contest and the number not much!

In the last post, I was mentioned that Vietnam is a country has a rich culinary background, not because of the diversity of dishes but also about the diversity of the side dishes and material make the dishes

Introduce

I sure you know about fresh spring rolls, it's a dish you will use rice paper roll with multiple different materials base on each region, but it has the same 2 part are:

• Meat: shrimp, fish, pork or duck
• Vegetables: cucumber, salad, carrot and any type of mint, basil, cilantro or your favorite selection of Vietnamese Herbs.

But this restaurant is different, vegetable at here is completely different, the vegetable is wild (jungle) vegetable and it's not popular to find and buy.

For more detail:
Wild vegetables directly mean that vegetables grow in the forest, originally referring to the vegetables grow wild in nature, are harvested in nature and are not harvested from fields planted

And this restaurant use wild vegetable to roll fresh spring rolls

The Space

Located at the side of the street, the facade of the restaurant quite large and airy, and you easy to find it. We select this restaurant because it's so highlighted when we go around to find something to eat and we see it!

I love every restaurant with a large space because here I can feel the personal space of mine, I can comfortably talk with friends and do not hear the noise from the next table

The customers quite crowded, right? I think delicious food make crowded customers so see the customers you can guess how much delicious at Pho Thanh.

The Menu

Pho Thanh famous with Vietnamese crepe eat with wild vegetable but on this day I want to eat fresh spring roll, I take photo help you know more about the dishes on the menu and the price of each dishes

The Food

Because I want to eat fresh spring rolls so I order fresh spring rolls first. They bring the dishes quite fast, fresh spring rolls served with Pho Thanh sauce, not fish sauce.
When you eat you can feel so good, fresh and tasty, let's try it quickly and you will like it, I promise!

After 2 rolls and I still want to eat fresh spring rolls so I decide to continue order dishes about spring rolls.
We order fish dipped in vinegar with wild vegetable, I want to know fresh spring rolls with wild vegetable is how.
Have many things to serve: a stove, a pot of vinegar, wild vegetables, rice noodles, rice paper and fish.

Do you know how to eat: first you must boil vinegar then dipped fish into boiled vinegar and roll with rice paper with wild vegetables.

I'm not careful so my rolls look messy a little bit and not beauty like the restaurant made but it's so good, still keep the good and fresh taste. And the taste of the wild vegetable is quite bitter, if you don't like the bitter taste you shouldn't try it, let's try with the original fresh spring rolls.

Rate

I rate 8 points even though I think this restaurant is the best restaurant of the year because the vegetable is bitter and I can not eat too much. I like a fresh spring roll but I can not eat too much because of wild vegetables.
Anyway, you should try it, I think I'll come back in the next time when I want to change my taste
