Last week, my friend and I had a casual walk around our neighbourhood and discovered a cosy little spot called “Taste of Chamberlayne”.
The café is located near to the affluent Queen’s Park area in London and I believe it is a relatively recent addition to the many eateries situated there. It has a lovely rustic feel and quirky country café decor, giving off a very warm and inviting atmosphere!
There is a nice big sofa at the back including plenty of seating if you need to work on a laptop, and they have a pretty good free WiFi service too. I am already thinking ahead that this could be a good place for me to come and blog, away from all the crowd and noise, lol!
“Taste of Chamberlayne” offers up light meals and a good selection of cakes. Both my friend and I were quite hungry after our walk, so we decided to have lunch there.
The lunch menu is written on the wall itself and has a relatively wide range of sandwiches. We both opted for the Chef’s Platter which caters for foods with a middle eastern influence. It was excellent that they really took their time with the food and presentation too, going totally beyond my expectations and a very generous portion was served as well!
They also make some decent coffee and offer freshly squeezed juice here too.
What a lovely café with such charm and a relaxing vibe as well as all the tasty food. I will surely be back very soon! Enjoy!
