아이의 컨디션도 좋지 않고 기분도 별로던 어느날 기분도 풀어 줄 겸 찾아간 곳이에요.
얼집(=어린이집 의 준말) 에서 오랫동안 엄마를 기다리다 지쳤는지 울다지쳤는지 눈은 퉁퉁 붓고 울음의 흔적 같은 헐덕이며 흐느낌이 남아있던 아이였어요.
많이 안아주고 이야기해주고..
그 안쓰러움을 먹을 걸로 달래주려 찾아간 곳입니다.
오랜만에 찾은 수제비 집입니다.
지금까지 볶음밥이나 주먹밥 같은 꼬들꼬들한 밥은 먹지 않고 뱉어내기만 하던 아이인데
그래서 혹시나 남길 걸 생각해 주먹밥이 그나마 적게 나오는 세트메뉴를 주문 했는데..
웬 걸.. 아이 혼자 큰 덩어리 주먹밥 3개를 다 먹어주네요.
물론 바닥에 떨어 뜨리 먹지 못한 양을 빼면 2개 반? 정도의 양이겠지만 매운 깍두기로 물에 헹궈 달라해서 헹궈주니 그것 마저 오독오독 씹어가며 먹어주는 아이였습니다.
아이가 혼자 주먹밥을 먹는 동안 전 들깨 수제비를 호호 불어가며 먹었습니다.
예전 언제 먹었던 구수하고 담백한? 맛이 이 날은 조금 덜 느껴졌어요.
맛이 변한건지 이 날의 제 마음이 좋지 않아서 그랬는진 모르지만..
그래도 아이가 맛있고 배부르게 먹어줬으니 그걸로 된거죠!!
