Food Sharing #77 - Fasties @ Salzburg, Austria

Hi Everyone,

Today I’m going take you to a café in an alley at Salzburg Austria. This is the 3rd time we’ve been to Salzburg and every time we would take the opportunity to find a nice coffee place to sit down and take a rest after a day of sightseeing/ walking around. The café we visited is called Fasties.

They also serve food but as you can see from their promotional stand, the coffee already stood out for us which is why we decided to sit down and have a quick drink. Let’s have a look at the menu first. Remember to check the chalk board on the wall for the day’s special but we were there for coffee so didn’t order anything from there.

We ordered a coffee (my other half finished half of it before I could take a photo), a bottle of water and an orange juice (not pictured) for the kids to share. The service was very quick as it was late in the afternoon or maybe the lunch hour rush have finished. The coffee from the feedback from my other half is a lot better than what we get from Sydney but price wise was probably the same or slightly more expensive. They have seating both indoors and outdoors which we chose to sit outside to enjoy the sun. Overall, I find the coffee and tea seems to be better than what we have here in Australia, or probably because we are in holiday mode so everything seems to be nicer.
