Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Restaurant

안녕하세요! 노엘이에요 ~ I went to Bread Street Restaurant at the Marinal Bay Sands in Singapore for our anniversary last year. We ordered the famous beef wellington, some seas bass dish (cant remember) and the chicken rosemary (cant rmb as well) along with fries as our appetitizers. We were first given bread (complimentary) and butter which was actually not bad (also really helped that we were starving at that point of time). Our chips/fries came and it was really good. It was pretty chunky yet crispy! The following main dishes slowly arrived. Unfortunately the sea bass and chicken dish was really underwhelming and I could only manage to eat half of the dish ($$$$ ouch). The beef wellington was not bad but we were pretty full already. It also came with a small dish of mashed potatoes and vegetables such as broccoli which went well and tasted good. Some sort of wine sauce was provided but i didnt think it was my style so i didnt really fancy that. To be honestly, i really expected more but maybe i am not used to such expensive/luxurious taste(?) but we’d rather we eating chicken rice to be honest. I guess one time was sufficient at such a fancy restaurant. The service was okay and we were served some cookies after our meal (which tasted really good). I dont know why he free stuff tasted really good but thw main dishes were disappointing as hell. Also we probably over-ordered which led to the hefty bill ($$$). But yeah, i suppose i will probably not go there ever again but if you wanna try i suppose once is sufficient but do NOT get your hopes to high!
