Seeing as I haven't yet come across a article dissecting tattoos or the derivatives of it's obtainers exploited by people judging tattoos and the individuals that have them before they even get to know you/them when is this all going to finally be more acceptable. I was delighted to read Jonathan Jones's article in the Guardian last weekend, in which the august and erudite art critic took time out from covering old master exhibitions in order to cast his eye over the work on display at the London Tattoo Convention down at Tobacco Dock in Wapping. It's all too rare that anyone, let alone the mainstream media, take this old, proud practice seriously in artistic terms. I was somewhat less delighted, though, to read some of the rather blunt comments which the article spurred. Whenever an article about tattooing appears, the same few comments seem to cluster up. They are, for the most part, founded on an unsophisticated conception of the history, culture and practice of tattooing in the west. I want to tackle some of these myths head on. Misconceptions are tenacious things, some of them are over 100 years old! When i say they should be acceptable I am not saying cover your face or anything too extreme but some and some in certain places is most definitely tasteful. I mean for crying out loud if you look at today's society appears to me that certain characteristics of amongst classifications of people or persons that I'm a general Common Sense basis are to me and most of the world preposterous, and definitely greater than the parameters of getting tattoos. However, and yes there are some that are still discriminated against but it just seems like largely in whole looking at the bigger picture it's almost not normal to not be gay now it's everywhere I mean it's it's like the biggest epidemic to ever sweep the world. I believe personally that very few of these individuals they claim to be homosexuals are, if you look at it a lot of these are younger teens to college I mean I think they are getting their life's confusion is due to their young nature mixed up with gayness. But that is neither here nor there now dont let me get too far off track I can understand looking back in history I mean Once Upon a day it was made to be a popular things to do on most criminals and something that happened regularly in federal penitentiary or prison. I mean take a look at the picture below this guy's been in several magazines on TV I think this so picture in the comparison has a very strong message that it's trying to relay. I mean all in all people need to just relax and not judge I mean what do you say that are your body language displays that I mean people just kind of Jumpy around people with tattoos no matter what the certain Aura is that may come along with somebody with tattoos just pack it down deep inside you and get to know us before you judge us who knows maybe the doctor below wind up saving your life. And then your entire Outlook will have changed. Anyways just something that swept across my mind thought I'd throw it up for everybody to read and let me know what you think, thanks.
