LOL.

Let's consider that he doesn't have to go that expensive to find that he owes more. A good EA or CPA can straighten him out. (Please consider throwing the work our way when you can Amirnoir.)

I suspect the lawyers did everything correctly, but lordsaroman missed that an early withdrawal will incur the 10% penalty, AND there will be income tax due on the part of the withdrawal that is earnings.
