You would charged with tax evasion if you didn't find a way to convert to fiat and pay your taxes accordingly. They could then go in and seize personal assets, including your bitcoin property to sell to fiat to pay the taxes.
In short, if you don't do the work of conversion to fiat yourself, they'll do it for you by force.

Do you have a court precedent on taxing a non federal virtual assets with a non realized USd gains . Something that is not recognized by any fed agency or foreign gov .

I'm not on trial here. So don't start by making demands of me to provide proof for your problem. Oh, and good luck hiring a lawyer with only bitcoin on a tax evasion case where you declare that you have no taxable assets. LOL.

no crypto is not recognized as a backed currency , let alone a usd equivalent.
They expect you to cash out and pay taxes , even if your exchange or wallet get hacked you ll owe taxes on unrealized virtual non recognized assets ! .
So basically if you sell thin air and make gains you still pay taxes .
Next step if you dream you made gains it ll be a taxable event ! .
