That is correct folks, true-life example. A person grossing just $26,787 / year in PA pays this much to Uncle Sam.
Check out the breakdown of a small weekly paycheck (grossing $514.75) and tell me about gov't * highway theft*...

Employee Taxes:
Medicare $7.46
OASDI $31.91
PA SUI - EE $0.31
Harrisburg City $10.30
Lemoyne B LST(Cumberland)(West Shore S.D.) $1.00
Pennsylvania SITW $15.80
Federal Income Tax $30.41

Total $97.19 <-- removed from $514.75 earned

  • What iz this?? And how does one live on a weekly net of $417.56 with the cost of rent, utilities, groceries and gas (necessarily??) skyrocketing?

This is purely ridiculous, but in the actual sense, I consider this a man made hardship through unfavorable government policies.

Could be worse and probably will.

It's awful Brother Mike - to pay 18-freaking-percent on an annual income of just $26,787 per year here. Thank you good sir for your vote, as always
