IncomeTax - Patriotic Duty or Theft

People often bring up a long list of evidence to support their opinion on either side of this spectrum. But is all that really necessary to answer this question or is it just a matter of addressing something very basic in the way we view ourselves?

One person who believes taxation is theft is John McAfee of McAfee anti-virus software fame. He's taking a stand for what he believes. It's not unusual for an American to have to flee the country when telling the truth and living an honest life which has led him to the Bahamas where he is running a campaign for President in exile. The story gets stranger after that with his plan to use clones to represent him since the can't step foot on US soil without being arrested.

It's a story worth following because the outcome may affect us all for a long time.

I would recommend a few videos for some background.
