Tag Tag Notes is a game where you place the note tags to the respective keys! I made them myself using cardboards, pen and colour-pens.
This game is suitable for those late beginners who had already learned up to 15 notes on the piano - middle C, and 7 notes above it (Treble Clef), and the 7 notes below it (Bass Clef).
To play this game, randomly place all tags onto a bowl.
Be aware that, this is all hand made. The cutting of the tags must be the same size with the narrowest part of the piano key.
All cardboards that are already been cut out, must be folded in half. You will need 16 pieces of the small cardboard that you have cut out, preferably in the measurement of 8mm x 40mm. Fold in half, so that you will see two parts when you make them "sit" on the keys.
Draw 8 notes of the treble clef from the middle C on the upper part of the cut-out cardboards. Then another 8 notes of the bass clef from middle C.
The black pen drawing was for the right hand, the treble clef notes, drawn on the upper part of the folded cardboards. The colourful pen drawing was for bass clef notes, drawn in the lower part of the folded cardboards.
Students might have a hard time to recognize the notes sometimes, so motivate them by giving them a piece of candy after they accomplished the task - placing the correct tags onto the correct keys.
As time goes along, they will know and read notes faster!
