"Becoming a teacher was never easy. Problems may come but always remember that students are counting on you."
When I was a child, I always dream of becoming a teacher. I never thought I'm bringing that dream until I go to college. When I was asked by my mom during enrollment on my first year in college, I was really decided to take up an Education course. I don't know why but I always have a gut feeling that teaching will fit to me and it will be my profession in the future.
As I start my journey of becoming a teacher was never easy. There are so many things to do and things to be balanced for you to survive college life. But the learning keeps on pouring day to day. I was so glad to learn many things that I can use in the future. There will be times as well that I asked myself if I really want to be a teacher and my answer will always be, "Kaya ko to!"
So, I graduated college and I was beyond happy as well as my parents and all the people who walk with me until the last journey of my schooling. I experienced teaching in private and public school because of our OJT (On the Job Trainig) and the experience was indeed very helpful and learning come in the way. I learned to be more patient to students, to jam with them, to understand each one of them, to know the different problems students are encountering in his or her everyday life and I slowly came to realize that a teacher is a very important factor on student's life. Teachers are their to encourage, give hope and transform the lives of the students to become better in the future. As well as, to prepare them in the field of work and how reality works in our life.
If you will be a teacher, dont be so strict to students that every time you come to class, they will be afraid. Be a teacher that every students love and they will remember you for all the good things you have done for them :)
“A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others.”
(Mustafa Kemal Atatürk)
This is a very true quote because a teacher always sacrifices everything for students for them to improve and not lose hope. They are sacrificing to give the students the way to success.
So, to all teachers out there like me! LET US CONTINUE TO TEACH AND INSPIRE STUDENTS! :)
MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ALL STUDENTS! :)
