As a passionate medical student, I always seek opportunities to share life-saving knowledge in a practical, accessible manner with non-medical individuals. With enthusiasm, I now wish to expand this trend of knowledge-sharing within the Steemit community. Therefore, I am submitting my application for the Steemit Learning Challenge for Season 21, focusing on Basic First Aid and First Response, offering essential skills applicable in real-life emergencies.
INTRODUCTION |
---|
I am Muhammad Abdullah Naveed, a third-year medical student at Dow University of Health Sciences. My medical education has provided me with a robust foundation in clinical and emergency medicine. I find it fascinating to translate my theoretical knowledge into practice by teaching people what I am most passionate about—First Aid. I have contributed to my community as an official instructor at FRIP (First Response Initiative of Pakistan), and I look forward to expanding this knowledge through the Steemit platform.
I have completed several medical and first aid courses, including:
• FRIP Level 1 and Level 2
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR Certification – 2023
• First Aid and Trauma Response Workshop – 2024
At FRIP, I have also guided my peers through various workshops, ensuring they understand basic life-saving techniques and emergency response protocols. This will be my first time officially teaching on Steemit, and I am excited about the opportunity to offer a course that can positively impact real lives.
In addition to my work with FRIP, I have been actively involved in teaching for the past four years across various institutions. My primary focus has been on medical and pre-medical education, where I aim to prepare and guide students through foundational and advanced topics in healthcare. I believe in making complex concepts simple and accessible, ensuring my students can apply their knowledge effectively in real-life scenarios.
Beyond medical education, I have also ventured into cryptocurrency education, where I served as a professor for two seasons at the Steemit Crypto Academy. During my tenure, I developed and delivered lessons focused on cryptocurrency basics, investment strategies, and blockchain technology. This experience broadened my teaching skills, allowing me to engage with a diverse audience and explore my passion for education in different fields.
Teaching is more than a responsibility for me; it is a hobby and a passion. I am dedicated to imparting knowledge in ways that are engaging, practical, and interactive, whether it’s in medical training or technical education. My consistent commitment to my teaching duties stems from a genuine desire to share my skills and empower others with practical, life-saving knowledge.
My brother, Huzaifa Naveed, will join me in delivering this course. Here’s a brief introduction to him:
• Profession: Dental Surgeon
• Experience: Currently practicing in a hospital and managing his own clinic.
• Teaching Background: Huzaifa has extensive experience tutoring for the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) at various tuition centers in Pakistan. He has also taught advanced medical school subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Endodontics, and Surgery.
• Certifications: Huzaifa has also completed Basic Life Support (BLS) courses through FRIP, equipping him with essential emergency response skills that he will bring to this course.
Huzaifa's Experience on Steemit
Huzaifa joined the Steemit platform in April 2021, and since then, he has actively blogged with dedication, earning the title of Best Author in 2021. He is also an exemplary student of the Steemit Crypto Academy, having completed several lessons on cryptocurrency. Huzaifa is committed to creating an inclusive environment on Steemit where meaningful conversations thrive, and he values the friendships formed through these interactions.

When it comes to health, this are the basic first aid tips that any body need to know to save life in an emergency state without any health professional.
This courses will benefit all steemians to save life wherever they are, I like your areas of concentration when it comes to health.
There is an incident that happens in my country where a celebrity died while on his way to a movie shoot by drowning, no one around him knew how to do CPR and for this reason the young man died before rushing him to the hospital. It was a pity, so I believe this your course will create awareness to everyone here.
It will be highly beneficial, I also appreciate the teachers involve as you both are medical doctor.
Wishing this team a success 👍

Okay - that's a course I'm going to take. Why? I have of course had several first aid courses in my youth and consider myself quite fit. There were also several situations in which I could / had to prove this. But what surprises me again and again is the development in this area: what we learnt as the ultimate right thing to do is now completely outdated and is no longer used. Examples that come to mind are dealing with burns or severe nosebleeds... So I'm curious!
