Hi, thank you for asking.

In my opinion, AI is definitely playing it's part in reshaping SEO but as we know for rank better in search engines such as Google the content needs to be a higher quality.

Referring to Google last update of helpful content prioritizing content created for humans, rather than for search engines.
SEO is also done for humans the users who will be using your websites and it requires personalised content which users can relate.
I mean obviously chat gpt can create a keyword rich content but will it be beneficial to users as much as a content written by a human?

Google changes it's update time to time and always put penalties on spam content, we may never when Google set priority for human content and may penalise or do not rank the AI content.

Because the main aim of Google is to provide searches to the users which are actually helpful and informative to the user.

There are many niche which require customization and AI will not be able to do that, there are plenty of tools which can detect if the content is AI written then it won't be hard for Google to detect one.

We all know in future there will be dump of AI content and websites on the Internet and at that time google will definitely play it's game by prioritising human content - again because it's their main goal to provide most relevant results to it's users.

Last but not the least SEO also include the Optimization of content for it's users, because if the content isn't relevant the bounce rate will be increased and rankings will automatically be reduced.
