Back from the oblivion

So... I took a short break at the end of November last year. I was going to start writing in January again and took another short break. Life happened, I guess and Steemit became the least of my priorities.

There is no real excuse, I just didn't know what to write about. I felt that my blog needed a particular direction to meet my niche audience. In reality, the demographic on Steemit is incredibly vast. I follow some of my favourite blogs on here not for the content, but for the personalities behind them. I hope to bring that back to my own blog, too. Some personality.

My interests are broad and forever changing , and I want a blog that reflects that. Of course, I will still have the staples - photography and the occasional review - but I want to write about different topics and things. I'm not even sure Steemit is the perfect platform for this, given its stale state. (Seriously, what the fuck is that ugly 'advertise here' banner at the top of my page, and why can't I minimise it?) But I will use Steemit for now as some of the people whose blogs I cherish are here.

Perhaps I will write more about what I've been up to over the last six months later, I just wanted to write a quick update instead of creating a post as if nothing ever happened. I have been reading #teamaustralia posts from afar every now and again, and look forward to getting back into it!

I haven't been to steemit for a long time. Steempeak.com is heaps better. Download the steem keychain app and you don't even need to log in with Steemconnect. Heaps of development going on at the moment.
Great to see you posting. Thurs 30th is newcomers day at The Jade, so we'll be helping new recruits with understanding how it all works, getting them set up on their devices, etc. Be fantastic to have you along.

Hey! You snuck back in and I missed it! Good thing I got you on autovote.

I'm with Matt. I rarely use steemit, except for laying out my posts. I use a tablet, so Steempeak doesn't work very well for me, so I use Partiko for the most part. There are only ads there if you want to view them for points.
