Hi team! These aren't native as such, but off the south coast at the moment we have these beautiful Southern Right Whales birthing their calves. I got a couple of lucky shots ;)
Camera: Canon 5d mk iv with 70-200 lens
Settings: iso 100 1/320s f6.3
This is one of the calves breaching. This one was particularly playful.
This was the Mum having a bit of a blow.
Just having a stickybeak above the water.
Whales are so majestic. You were so lucky to see calves!

Yeah they were pretty great! I'd seen them just as lumps in the water before, but to see them active like this was really cool.
