My morning commute

Life is sometimes boring and repetitive, much like my morning commute...

Each morning it starts with a 1km walk from the back of the car park to the station. (I'm lucky enough to get one of the last parking spots for the day)

I then get myself my morning hit of coffee and debrief with the modern day bar man. Barristers are a lot easier to talk to then what bar mans are. Back in the day the pub was the place to go, now it's the cafe..

I make a quick dash to the platform as my train now arrives in two minutes, today is a good day the platform seems vacant!

Just as the express Sunbury train comes roaring through tooting it's horn, in this cut it echos far beyond what is tolerable for this hour of the morning. I always see it catch one or two people off guard as they jump in fright.

Annnnd now I'm on the train, today is a good day I have a seat and the train is relatively empty.

Most days it's so crammed like a sardine that I have someones nuts on my leg, a pair of tits in my back and a smelly arm pit in my face.

And no, it's not a wild sex party, it's the Melbourne Metro Train System.
