About Me:

aka Petah Raven, I used to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, now I drive uber, work as a Tour Guide, and spend the rest of my time writing and playing LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) and Steem-Monsters.

My current big project is a translation and commentary on the I Ching, an ancient Chinese book of philosophical wisdom. In between all of that, I'm a part-time dad and full-time partner.

I am massive geek when it comes to SF (both literature and film/TV), comic books (although stopped buying years ago), and Rock music. I want my own radio show, which I'm thinking I could just do as a podcast... watch this space...

I'm also wondering whether or not to go back to private practice. I think I may, but I would be doing something very different, as I'm more interested in psychotherapeutic approaches to wellbeing, rather than somatic-focussed medical solutions. As well as TCM, I'm also qualified in NLP, trained as a professional Astrologer, worked for years as a Tarot reader, apprenticed to a shaman, and have been practicing Taoist Tai Chi & Qigong for almost 20 years now. I'm sure there is a way to combine all those things into a cohesive and effective therapy.
