Is it better to 100% power up now?steemCreated with Sketch.

Hello everyone.

Now that steem is trading higher than SBD, is it better to do a 100% power up on our accounts now? I am not withdrawing any time soon, my goal is to get to 1000 SP.

I think at 1000sp if steemit does take off in the future (maybe even to $100 per so) that amount would be a truely life changing amount of money.

I am super excited about this increased price recently maybe my dreams are coming true ; ) 🎉😀

I would love to hear if you guys have switched to 100% power ups

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

It should be truly instead of truely.

No, not at all, if you mean what I think you do (50/50 % split, versus the 100 % Steem Power split). It will only be profitable to select 100 % Power Up if SBD reaches a value that is less than $1. The ratio between Steem and SBD does not really affect this choice, since it all depends on the system treating the SBD as being pegged to $1 still, while it's much higher in reality.

I think u should hold sbd!

It's best to hang onto 50/50.

Occasionally, the SBD price will move higher than STEEM and when it does, that's your chance convert SBD into Steem.

Ultimately giving you a higher return than just 100% SP.

Just keep your eye on the markets and pounce when you get the chance.

Good luck on your journey towards 1000.

If you power up your money is captive for 12 weeks or at least most of it is. You can only get 1/12th of it back each week.

My life changed recently and I was financially devastated, so having money tied up as steempower was a bad decision for me. I think you're better to keep some liquid in the form of steem of SBD in-case you need quick funds.

I've been thinking about powering up myself.
I haven't really done any power ups or power downs till recently.
But I think it might be better to always be powring down a some just in case you want to take a little profit at some point. Or at least I might try that out for a little bit.
