Monroe Council for the Handicap had a Masquerade Ball for their March Activity on March 14th. It was an awesome night! Everyone was dressed in formal clothes and looked very nice. I wore black dress pants with a blue button-down plaid shirt. The facility they had it at was big and nice, called The Falls. They had fried chicken, one of my favorites, and mashed potatoes and green beans (not my favorites). But, overall, it was delicious.
The tables looked very nice and had candy on them. I ate a LOT of candy. After we all ate, they had an awesome DJ who played all different kinds of music--new, old, dance, movie themes, etc. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. There were also a group of several teenagers from a local high school who danced and socialized with all of us. Everyone had lots of laughs, and I had a really great time. I’m looking forward to the next one.
Keep on dancin'
