Living in a city like Kuala Lumpur is a great and exciting experience for me, especially because it is a different culture than the culture I was born and raised in (Germany). I enjoy the diversity of the people here, their mentality, their beliefs and of course the variety of food. There are so many things that are different from what I've known that make this experience very inspiring and it gives me the opportunity to learn from. I find all the architecture and skyscrapers astonishing that humankind was capable of building. As astonishing as I find these man-made creations, it also makes me think a lot: This used to be all covered by tropical rainforest where a variety of animals used to live. Now if you look around Kuala Lumpur you see tall buildings and little areas of forest and there are still so many new buildings growing up from the ground. What will the future look like and how will humankind create the future?
