Painful Confession: When you are ADDICTED to….and you’re denying it.

I was away for a couple of days to Penang for work and I kept telling myself that I will find time to do it. Yes, I must…I must! cross fingers

The moment I reached the apartment, then left for work, and then coming back from work. I just can’t get my eyes open to do anything! I felt drained and all I wanted to do is throw myself on the bed and…sleep away. I didn’t realise days passed by so quickly too!

At work, or even at the loo, I can’t stop thinking about it. I felt like I am missing a lot reading other people’s postings and voting the best ones.

Yes, I am addicted to Steemit. And it's a badass one man!

I used to scoff at it and was pretty skeptical too. Man, how wrong I was!

At one point of time, when Steemit server was down for a few minutes, I got panicked and wondered if the server’s downturn will affect all our postings and earnings! I texted @bitrocker2020 early in the morning just to find out what happened to it.

He replied of course and laughed at me.

He said I am addicted to Steemit.

I denied-lah as usual.

I refused to get sucked deeply into Steemit.

But now, I use my free time to think about what to write next.

You know what I love about Steemit the most? Watching the number in the Wallet grow. It’s like watching the stock exchange – only safer because I don’t have too throw my money into the volatile “market” to see it grow.

Two things that’s important when you’re on Steemit are Patience & Creativity.

PATIENCE

You gotta be patient to watch your portfolio grow and subsequently earn. Yes, it’s a hair pulling experience in the beginning. But you’ll get there – like my good long time friend @bitrocker2020 say, KEEP WRITING BAH.

CREATIVITY

You gotta invest some brain juice a bit when you’re on Steemit, okay well maybe not like a bit - bit, like a LOT whenever you can. Imagine this, you are literally surrounded by a sea of talented writers and contributors. How to make sure you’re not drowned in the middle?

You’ll notice that some postings gets crazy loads of upvotes, some even receives SBD (Steem Dollar) and perhaps SP (Steem Power), these usually comes from their avid followers.

Me-leh, I am just at an anchovy stage. Nowhere the Killer Sharks and Whales yet.
