If you have grown up in the 90s like me, you would probably have heard of them. It's almost impossible to miss their best sellers on the radio back then.

The band were pretty much part of my teen years (and my sister’s) and I still remember the song “Zombie” played by my sister on the radio every morning before school and my late father would sing the song’s chorus with us (Zombie...zombie...zombie...), although he is tone deaf.

Her song “Ode to my family” entertains me whenever I feel down due to family problems and I listened to the song “Linger” whenever I need to wind down after work.

It was her mesmerising, raw, acoustic Irish voice that captivates any listeners.

I read the news about her demise late evening yesterday and felt that she’s gone way too soon, at age 46. She haven’t even got a family of her own yet!

Another talented singer down.
