Co-working Space #1 - Settlements

It's been a long time since my previous post, and today I'm going to share about the co-working space in Penang. There are few co-working spaces in Penang, most well known are ACAT, Scoopoint, Msogo and more will come soon as the trend of working in co-working space is getting popular nowadays.

Today I'm going to introduce a new co-working space that launched recently called, Settlements. They are a new 18,000 sqft co-working & shared services office housed in Livingston Tower (previously known as Menara Zurich) based in Georgetown, Penang in Malaysia. Base on Settlements words, the Living Tower will also be an upcoming Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) building, not only that the building will also have a hotel, coffee shop, an event hall, and a small gym that exclusive for hotel guests and building tenants as well. Best part? The parking space is FREE to park at 5th floor till 7th floor although it's a little narrow to drive up with a car.

They are also working with Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) Penang, Cradle Fund Malaysia, Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC), USAINS Group (corporate arm of Universiti Sains Malaysia) and many others to equip not only the startup, but tech and SME network as well in Penang with valuable knowledge and skills to further enhance the already thriving local community's growth. Which means more opportunity to learn and share with others from different backgrounds by working in this space.
