First acquaintance and names.

in teammalaysia •  7 years ago

Hello dear community of Steemians.

Firstly, allow me to introduce myself. I've been given the name Brian by my dear parents. From my knowledge and some 'googling', apparently my name descends from Ireland (no im not irish lol).
I come from The Land Below the Wind, Sabah in Malaysia.
Lets see.. I'm happily married and have 2 beautiful kids and not to forget a beautiful wife as well (wink wink)

I believe when it comes to giving a name to your next of kin, choose wisely.
It took me quite awhile to come up with my own unique username for my Steemit account. Did you?
Anyways, no pin pointing or condemning, just my two cents.
Many young parents nowadays are naming their children with a mix of hard to spell and hard to pronounce names. Its kinda getting out of hand in my opinion. To the point where its like 'whose kid
has the coolest name' competition.

Choosing a name for my children was really important to my wife and me. We wanted to avoid from giving them names that were out of the norm. It took us forever to decide on our first born son, we were still deciding on a name even when he was already born into this world. But finally when we saw his face sound asleep, his chosen name came naturally to us. It wasn't so difficult when it came to choosing a name for our daughter to be honest. I guess we learn from experience right?

Here are photos of my son Ethan Xavier and daughter Evia Xania.

Names are special to each and everyone of us, and without any explanatory reason, I believe somehow or another, it defines our personality.

Anyhow, to end my introduction.

I am currently working in a factory with a local company that markets and distributes rice all over Malaysia.
Hopefully I'd be able to take some pictures of the process on my next post.
As I'm writing this post, it excites me to make and meet new acquaintances, to share new and similar interests.
This is my first time blogging, hopefully theres more to come in the near future.
