Last Sunday I finally attended my first Team Malaysia event! Missed out on the previous events due to hectic Saturdays both as a music educator and musician. I couldn’t miss out on this one!
I decided to bring my son this time as my wife was having her girl’s night out with my sister and our 7 weeks old baby. To be honest I was a bit nervous as I’ll be meeting a lot of people for the very first time!
We missed out on the ‘lau sang’ as we arrived late but still just in time for the dinner. We were greeted by the beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur!
I had to make sure I still fulfilled my daddy duties - feed my boy dinner. Throughout the whole night I had to always keep an eye on him as he loved playing near the pool. At one point I totally forgot to inform him I was going for an interview by @shenoy and when @happycrazycon came calling only did I remember I had a boy with me at the gathering!
Swapping between daddy duties and socializing, I barely had time to eat my own dinner. Thank God @aaronleong was passing out tarts later in the night!
It was great to finally meet the faces of familiar Team Malaysia members such as @kokuryo, @arwinzen, @karinzdailygrind and many other lovely people.
I was also very surprised to see a group of Steemians led by @firepower that flew all the way to join us! It’s great to see how Steemit is able to connect people in more ways than ever before!
It was definitely a fun night meeting beautiful people from Malaysia and beyond. Special thanks to @aaronleang and @joannewong for hosting and @bitrocker2020 for leading Team Malaysia! Looking forward to more gatherings with these awesome people :)

Weird, @ginabot is working fine for me. Additionally, I'm using Steemit Mention from Telegram to get mention notification as well in case ginabot server maintenance.
