How many Slashes do you have on your name-card?

I came across these Chinese two books that could be of great interest to Millennials and Digital Nomads / Retirees etc.
The GIG Economy is basically free-lancing or self-employed while Slashies are people engaged in multiple jobs or sources of incomes.

Good example of a “Slashy” person (with many slashes) could be holding the following positions “Realtor / Author / Publisher / Place-maker”. It is not just for multiple sources of incomes. More importantly, it is for the variety of lifestyle and range of products and services – so-called the Portfolio Life :
• Realtor: Dealing with Property
• Author: Published writer
• Publisher: Dealing with publications
• Place-Maker: Maker of public places

This is the so-called Portfolio Life, experiencing a diverse range of activities and sevices, especially involving “Inconspicuous Consumption” (immaterial consumption, such as knowledge, c ulture etc.).

In fact, my personal name-cards carry such string of slashes. In that sense, I am too a “Slashy” which could also include other slashes, such as entrepreneur / trainer / mentor / speaker etc. I am leading a Portfolio Life.
