The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.- Winston Churchill

In just a short period of time, Social Enterprise has become a hot topic not only in developed countries but also in emerging markets like the east ASEAN Growth Area. Even though the term is a bit new in our region the impact it has brought to the people has slowly started changing their lives positively to some extent.

The landscape of businesses is now being built on a smarter framework of ecological, economic and social sustainability to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda as set by the United Nations. Here are the three reasons why the future belongs to any of the Social Entrepreneurs out there.

It's a call

Building up your community through social enterprises will connect one with a purpose in life. This is why I believe that social enterprise could work to serve everyone life's purpose. It's all about WHY and HOW we can honestly and truthfully serve our people and to some small measure, the world. As Mathama Gandhi said, "be the change that you wish to see in the world". So has this been my calling.

Enriching People, Enriches Me

Motivation plays a major role for each and everyone of us. Motivation can also be a difficult element to garner for people who are not surrounded by supporting circles. Simply put, to keep you going, try to work with an incredible group of determined and focused people around you everyday, discuss and start making great innovative and creative products with the intention of benefiting an honorable cause. Trying to be a game changer as well as a game maker!

Bringing a smile to people

As the saying goes, smile and the world smiles with you. This may also contribute to your happiness in life. One of the greatest satisfaction I have ever experienced whilst working with my community was that, I could enlighten their lives by trying to make a difference in their lives. Being a trained educationist, I have always endeavored to help others discover their own purpose in life. It doesn't mean that this social enterprise is only meant for those in the profession of helping others but many have a genuine intention of truly doing something that can help other people. Nevertheless, this effort demands a bunch of passion, patience and perseverance to reach such noble objectives.

The world is changing and trade is now revolving around cryptocurrency. Social Enterprise is now the way forward for the world's future industries. With a global online marketplace to showcase their goods and products, this is evolving now. Are you ready for this? A whole industry has started to grow around this new revolution. We have become the citizens of the world rooted with the beauty of distinct traditions and cultures.

Together we can make the world a more sustainable place to live and thrive in!

Good one Eve, but there has to be a lot more than 3 reasons..........

Yes there are many reasons. These 3 reasons are my personal experience and reflections. I will add on to that points in my future postings . Cheers for supporting 👍🏻

Social enterprise is a natural progression as enterprises stop focusing solely on profit and want to do more for society. Hope that there will be more this type of enterprise in Malaysia. I see that team Malaysia is growing and I am very happy about it. Read about the first Steemit Meetup in Kuching.

there's a fire in Asia, people are hungry. People there Hustle in a way that reminded me how I Hustle.

Gary Vaynerchuk.

You are very correct. In terms of the market. We win, if only by the sheer number of people with buying power.

Social (media) marketing presents a huge huge untapped potential for people who knows what to look at. Everyday people come out of poverty and everyday there's new buying power.

We are lucky to be born here because unlike many other places. The macro-economy is growing. Profit follows growth.

Plus also because of its untapped nature, the barrier of entry is significantly low. Anyone with a camera phone and data can start making money as long as they out right.

Cheers for supporting this noble cause! Follow @madeve to support her journey in building up the community in East ASEAN Growth Area. This would help the entire region to grow together.
