Ok I've watched it

And boy. Came out from the cinema I was immensely satisfied with everything. The movie has scale interms of story, characters and the link between all of them. The Russo brothers has really done something here. A definite milestone in cinema history where a conclusion of a 10 years effort starting from the 2008 Ironman.

Thanos intro

It was a bit slower than Ive expected. And the introduction of Thanos wasnt as grandieur and menacing. Likewise to the introduction of the Black Order. The audience werent really introduced to any of them by name or their special abilities. All we know that they have super-powers. I wished that more time was spent letting us know them as characters since they are quite a player in this whole saga.

Pacing

The pacing of the whole thing for me is OK but some of the moments in the movie can be stretched to let it sink in and have some emotional attachment to it. Theres alot the fans need to link realtime while watching in order to understand what is going on but in the age of internet, explaination about things are always available after the movie.

But for an old-fashion movie-goer like who wants the movie to tell me the whole story, it was abit rushed. I had enough sleep and got everything done so no one can ever make my phone vibrate in the middle of the movie to interrupt and aging brain concentration haha

Jokes

Some are outplaced and not funny and a bit desperate. I remember I laughed at only one of the joke. (im a serious guy) But dont be like me. Have fun and laugh yourself out loud! You paid for the tickets (haha)

All of this in a single movie

I wouldve wished that this Infinity War wouldve been made a trilogy as it is showing and telling alot of stories which most of them were skipped or being cut short. Alot of moments couldve been made longer, like Ive mentioned above, to let it sink it, and in the end for the audience to appreciate the characters and what they gone through.

The quest to have all the Infinity Stone and the mission to stop Thanos in 2.5 hour movie is a little bit too compressed, considering again, the cosmic scale of it all.

There are also few screens that you see in the trailer that is not in the movie (cant tell you which one)

The visual FX

One of the most if not the most stunning visual effects known to me. I mean we all seen it all but visual effects means nothing if it doesn't contribute to the story. But this does contribute to the story. It feels one with it and very necessary. Words here cant justify it. You just have to watch it yourself.

I was on Atmos DBox seats just now but to my dissapointment the movie doesnt really utilise much of it, compared to say The Last Jedi. So you can save and skip DBox for this movie imho. The sound was OK nothing new to be awed about in that department.

The ending

Im not a hardcore Marvel comics fan. Just a typical movie-goer and the ending for me will take some googling (haha) So without understanding the ending, for me the movie has a numb climax. It shouldve been left with question mark, but rather there are hints. But thats how movie franchise works nowadays, it dont just end in the cinema :)

But thinking of it again, the Russo Brothers have done it nicely. A slightly faster and it everything will be too rushed.
Rushed I think in a way that youve played a video game for a month and been through so many stages, and the finishing boss and the end-game video is just 10 minutes long.

So whats next?

The ending of the movie will make you beg that the next Avengers movie be shown straight away because it left alot of question and emotionally you need the struggle faced by the characters you loved to be solved. The movie ties you perfectly and needing to see more, in this case the need of a saviour in a form of a new character or weapon (not a spoiler) And a start of a new dawn of Marvel Universe saga

A great pop-corn movie and a great milestone to a 10 year franchise.
And do stay for the end-credit scene as it will be giving you the hints of whats coming next (as always)
