CNY Family Gathering at Sandakan

Once a year we must go back to hometown for Chinese New Year celebration. Since we are coming back for few days only, we won't waste our time to stay at home, but we must go out every nite and won't miss the chance to meet our family, relative and friends.

We appreciate every moment of gathering, because only once a year we can meet all relative at hometown. During the gathering, the topics are never skip to wishing each other and asking for each other's recent situation and development. Gathering is the time for us to get in touch with each other.

This was the first year that we were not coming back early at the first week of Chinese New Year to celebrate with family at Sandakan. However, we are still manage to come back to celebrate Chap Goh Meh at hometown.

We have Chinese Year New family gathering after coming back to Sandakan last nite. There are many new Cafes and bars that have opened everywhere in Sandakan, especially at IJM and Bandar Prima area.

We were having our gathering at The Sunset Beer Garden. This bar is located beside the football and rugby game court, at Sandakan. This is a very strategic location and a good place for family and friends gathering.

The Sunset Beer Garden is not only providing Beer and other alcoholic drinks for adults but also provide non-alcoholic drinks for children. Besides, we also can order Western foods like chicken chop or sirloin steak, Japanese foods, and other snacks. We were having our gathering after dinner, so we have only ordered some snacks and drinks.

While enjoying the drinks and foods, we still can walking around and visit the football court and watching for the people to play football.

Besides, I also never miss the chance to take some photos for the environment there.

This is really a good place for enjoying dinner and happy hours. We will come again to this place by next year.

Since we were coming back late this year, many relatives and friends who come back from West Malaysia already went back to work. Hopefully, we can come back early for CNY next year. We are looking forward to see more members to join our family gatbering by next year CNY.
