Travelblog #80 : Motorbiking to Tham kim sapa

Journey to thamh kim sa pa . Today mission is to be a part of the village and see they daily life.I rent a motor bike for 100,000 vd and another 50,000 vd for gasoline .

im leaving sa pa at 2 pm to tham kim village. Along the way i take much food picture from the road so its take about 1 hour and half driving the motor bike.

I thought that im a good driver but this one is really adventures , but the road is much better than in cheningan bali.

In this village , i see a group of people make a house which according the owner they are building a homestay and it about to finish at may next year.

All the people are working , it is include the lady with their baby. They bring their baby behind them like nothing happen. sometimes the ask their other daughter to take care of the baby.

Then i asking them , how much they pay for the labour charge. They say zero. They only will provide food for breakfast , lunch and dinner for them. And if their neighbour need they help , they must come and help.

And surprisingly it was a frenzy dinner at the night . And this is my first time eat rat which according to them , its from the mountain and the rat was damn big.

While eating they exchange the rice which means they drinking with their brother and shake hand with each other. The rice wine is important to them to make their body hot. The temperature here can drop until 4 degree at the nigth.

Today i ll satay here , in my sweet room and tomorrow i ll back to town about 9 am .
