You must be wondering why I used the same photo all over again right. Well it’s because I want you guys to notify about this event whenever I introduce you to each bands that will be performing on this coming 23rd September 2018. Yes! I must say this is one of the biggest rock events that have ever happen in my hometown, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
What’s that event name again? ROCKNEO18!!!! (SREAMING LOUDLY). So let’s get back to the bands. The next band that I’d love to introduce to all of you steemians is our homegrown easycore band named Chugs On Deck. I’m sure some of you wonder what kind of easycore music is, easycore defines a mixture of punk, hardcore, pop and metal. Influences such as Kelly Clarkson, Chunk No Captain Chunk, Fall Out Boys, Justin Bieber, Bunkface and more derive them to make their own taste of fresh music.
Five members altogether with Eyon(Vocal), Jordan(Guitar/Vocal), Calvin(Guitar), Bobby(Bass) and Rafi(Drums). Watching their live show is worth enough to bring you into moshpit vibes where you can sing along with their catchy easycore tunes.
The band’s debut EP ‘Superhero in Love’ is a demonstration their 14 minutes of spine-tingling guitar riffs, moon-kissed synth, lyrically relatable with reminder that life isn’t about sunshine and rainbows. I was so impressed with the track called ‘It’s Worth the Shot” it’s relatable to underground music that facing the reality now. Trust me, you’ll be surprised to see them doing the acrobatic and energetic performances.
