The world is full of wealth shaped by nature, but also by the men. A whole life would not be sufficient to discover all our globe. But some musts are passages for the lovers of the trip. We enmenons you in shipping to the four corners of our beautiful planet earth.

1. The Machu Picchu

     

perched to more than 2430 meters of altitude, the Machu Picchu is an extraordinary site. Its geography is to it-only a splendour of the nature, at the border of the Amazon forest and the Cordillera of the Andes. Erigée in the 15th century, the heavenly city seems to be at the crossroads of the worlds. It must be said that the place is cloaked of mysteries. The site was only discovered in 1911, during an archaeological expedition. The Spanish suspected the existence of this lost city, but had not succeeded in the locate. In pacing the terraces of Machu Picchu, the visitor is transported in the time, not knowing if this city served a day of fortress, of sacred temple, sacrificial place or even of refuge to the last Inca. The mystery remains unresolved, and the fascination of the inexhaustible travellers.


2. The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is not the deepest in the world, but it is without doubt the most spectacular. It offers an incredible view and a feeling of gigantism, if own in the United States. Located in Arizona, it stretches 450 km long, of Lake Powell to the Lake Mead. Forged by the time, it tells the story of the land since its origin dates back to more than 1.7 billion years. The Colorado River which flows within it, as well as winds, have created a breathtaking show. The different colored strata provide a sumptuous palette of ochre, magnified at sunset.



3. Whitehaven Beach

if it was necessary to designate the most beautiful beach of the world, there would be many supporters of Whitehaven Beach, true paradise White. Located on the island of Whitsunday, it is only accessible by boat, and virgin of any human construction which gives it its exceptional character. Composed of 98% silica, its sand is a whiteness and extremely fine, which earned him to be used to create the Hubble Telescope. But as often in Australia, attention must be paid to the small animals in the surrounding area, and in particular to the medusa Stingers which is raging from December to March, and whose bite can be fatal.


4. Angkor Vat

located in Cambodia, the site of Angkor Vat is to this day one of the largest medieval cities of the world. 5. The Perito Moreno

the Perito Moreno is one of the most beautiful glaciers in the world. It stretches more than 5000 meters of front, and 70 in height. Located in Patagonia, the Perito Moreno offers a striking contrast between its beauty cold and angular, and forests scorched which surround it. 6. Preikestolen

peaking at more than 600 meters above the blue waters of the Lysefjord, the cliff of Preikestolen offers a point of view very impressive on the surrounding landscape. Located in the south-west of Norway, this flat rock stretches on more than 600 m2, and is a launching ramp ideal for fans of base jump. This granite cliff is a witness to the end of the ice age, 10,000 years ago, when the withdrawal of the ice has caused the decompression of the rocks that are fragmented. Meaning literally "the Chair" by its form, Preikestolen would also have been a sacrificial place.

  

7. The Namib desert

the Namib Desert offers a unique landscape in the world, where the desert comes to the meeting of the cold waters of the Atlantic. Located in the south-west of Namibia, the Namib Desert is the oldest of the world. It extends on more than 80 000km2 and 1500km of coastline. The place is home to the largest colony of fur seals in Africa, and swimming is not recommended due to the presence of sharks. This inhospitable coast remains no less sumptuous. The point of organ of the site is certainly in the National park of the Namib-Naukluft where the dunes of Sossuflei peak at over 300 meters high.


8. The Great Wall

The Great Wall of China is the largest building ever built by man. 10. The Salto Angel

There are several falls in the world that are worth the detour: the superb Cataratas of Iguazu, the impressive Niagara Waterfalls, or still the Victoria Falls. Those are really really awesome place to visit. I wish I had all the time and money to visit such places.
By the way, all these pictures were taken by you? I do not see any source mentioned in your post. What I learned from the older, sources should be mentioned in our post. Sorry if you don't like this suggestions.
