Imagine if I did a webpage about America and it became disgustingly popular

A webpage so popular it has brought in millions of hits to my website.

A page about America I originally intended to be funny. But the more I added to it, the less funny it looked, and the more like a train wreck. Sadly, like the Roman empire, America's days appear to be numbered.

To start with I half hoped things might turn around, but now I'm just having a good LOL.

The Good

Pretty much everything on the America page is negative apart from the picture of wonder woman in her hot pants, but I kicked things off on a more positive note with a few of my favourite American achievements:

Awesome movies like "The Matrix" (1999) and "Flying High" (1980)

Life changing books like "Catch 22" (1953) and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" (1974)

The Bad

Many other pages on my website contain opinions, hypotheses, and conclusions. But my America page is just a collection of over 50 American statistics and facts. I leave the reader to draw their own conclusions.

The main bias inherent on the page, is that the stats were mostly selected because they make America look bad. As a New Zealander I'm aware that NZ has a lot of bad stats too. In fact it was while looking into NZ heath stats that I decided to post the page. NZ has some appalling health stats, and in many cases is the second worst developed nation, invariably behind America. Developed countries with good health stats all tend to be in Europe.

The average U.S. citizen drinks more than 200 litres of soft drink each year. American males between the ages of 12-29 average 605 litres a year.

There are only three countries that don't give new mothers any paid time off work. America of course, and the other two are Oman and Papua New Guinea

The American government recommends 49 doses of 14 vaccines by the time a child is 6 years of age. And by the age of 18, the CDC recommends that children should have gotten 69 doses of 16 vaccines.

Nearly half of all Americans develop cancer, and over half a million people in America died of cancer in 2012. Cancer is the #1 cause of childhood death in the United States.

By the age of two, if an American child has received all of the recommended vaccines, they have received 2,370 times the “allowable safe limit” for mercury (if there is such a thing as a safe level of poison).

Based on the below, quote, the above is a click-bait headline, and is not really all that accurate. based on the numbers if they held then ever single American would have either syphilis, gonorrhea and or chlamydia, in 16.5 years. I know a lot of all these new cases are repeat cases.

There are 313 million people living in the United States. 46 million of them are on food stamps.

The above is just sad along with all the other items in the list. The water quality and a lot of other problems are sad. It is however the society and the norm that the people have chosen. Society is made up of the people, if it is viewed as normal then only the people are to blame. We are our own worst enemy.

Society is slowly changing, it is evolving, as we are no longer separate family groups wandering the hills, or clans, or tribes or villages, we are moving away from being a society to something new. As a group people are beginning to fight to change society, will we like what is born out of it? No one really knows for sure, but like all things on earth everything evolves, even ideas and thoughts of what is normal and acceptable.

America may be in the dumps, and the rest of the world should see America as the canary in the coal mine.

"Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" (1974)

Read the book when I was a teen, and recommend to everyone. Picked up a copy from a storage auction locker a few years ago and was saddened to read in the forward that his son Chris was murdered.

I was in awe of his abilities, when his bike broke and they were in the middle of nowhere. Renting machine shop tools he made the part himself.

Ok I will explain.

One is for self defense, maintain order, or take "care" of the government.
One is for killing everybody who doesn't think like her religion.

There's no particular order in the way my comment was done. It might apply from left to right or vice-versa.

It's possible Tony could have started on one of those. Although too young for that moment, It is not surprising that he had stolen to his older brother Dani the ball bearing wheeled cart to start practicing his flying deeds. ;)
