Last Sunday, I took a walk at a beach near to my place, which is at Lok Kawi Beach. I was shock with the view. The amazing nature view has been spoilt by garbage such as plastic bottle, plastic bag, utensil, can, and so on.
Some of the garbage look like it's been left by visitor and most of them are washed away by the wave.
It's really sad to realise that we have one of the best nature view but the mentality of most citizen still below par and not having the awareness to appreciate the nature. Sad!
Really is sad. Good on you for documenting the amount of waste plastic that has just been left on the beaches for someone else to take away. Or as I've heard is happening in Bali, covered over with sand ~ At night when no-one is around.

Hi @ewen.wsln , i run beringgis fireflies cruise in kinarut, nearby Lokkawi juga .same here loads of dirty rubbish on the beach ... but sad to say , the rubbish is brought from the sea during high tide. This is cause by HUMAN actually, human throw rubbish, the sea engulf it and bring it back to shore. Its a cycle .

Yes @veenang, I think most of the Lok Kawi's beach rubbish came from the kampung-kampung also ba, brought by the river stream kan, the government really should take action on these matter otherwise it getting worst kan..

It's so sad when people don't really care anymore, especially those who are still using the same facilities and still going the same public area for recreation and yet dumped garbage everywhere. 😡
