When we show appreciation by words and deeds, we show our family values and cherish them. It is good to think how much we value others. But, they will not know what we are feeling as long as we do not. Many families have special gatherings on Mother's Day or Father's Day to bring parental values. Many cultures celebrate the special days to honor the children. Here are some ideas about other ways of showing appreciation:
Tell a family member that he / she loves you.
Say anything positive to every family member every day.
Surprise a family member (for example, a card made) even when there is no occasion.
Get married with family members.
Find the best in every member of the family. Tell them.
Help a family member with his or her work (restriction, laundry, washing dishes, etc)
List the 5 things you want with a family member. Give the member a list as a gift.
