WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS?

Somethings that people do could be heart breaking, sometimes I wonder why.

For me I feel that we should all work hard to reap the fruit of our Labour and not using negative means.

A month ago I went to buy bitterleaf to cook soup with, since I cook for two persons I buy 100 naira own which most times i end up throwing some away because the quantity is more than required.

Till one day I went to the market to buy bitterleaf for my soup, they sell 3 small balls for 100 naira, normally after they put for you, they add extra.

I requested for 100 naira finished, after the lady had finished putting it she wanted putting extra and I told her not to worry that the one she has put would be enough for me.

When she gave it to me, it felt very light on my hands and I told her that what she put for me is so small that i have never bought any as little as these before.

I also told her the ones I buy used to more than enough for me and that was why I didn't want any extra.

The lady now collected it to add extra for me, then she told me something that shocked me.

She said "don't you know that those their's appear big add some other leaf to the bitterleaf just to boost it"?

She said hers was small because their was no addition.

I couldn't believe my ears, i was wondering why someone would do that just to make me more sales and deceive people.

Not until Monday when I went to market to get foodstuffs and I bought Ukazi leaf, only for me to finish cooking I was tasting Uziza leaf together with the Ukazi.

In my mind i couldn't just place it, what is wrong with all this people?

Can't someone just be real again?

This is why some persons find it difficult to trust.

Deceit is everywhere, great steemians let's help make this world a better place.

Hehehehhehehehhe. Didn't know market women can go as far as that just to make profits. This is actually the first time I'm hearing this. @cherylsonty

That what's wrong with society, we all cheat one way or the other... Change begins with you and me!!!!!

Spread the word!

That is why most businesses fail, if they continue in that manner trust me their business might just cripple as customers won’t be buying from them anymore.

only for me to finish cooking I was tasting Uziza leaf together with the Ukazi.

I couldn't hold my laughter there.
In the mist of many fakes. There will always be originals. People do evil For gains forgetting that all we do today is a seed that must germinate some day in the future.
God help us not to plant seeds that will affect our generation.

Amen o my dear

Oh no, thank you for sharing.
I really don't understand actions like that, I mean, making scams like this with bitterleaf or fake eggs or rice. As this very rarely happens in Europe, because of the free market, I read recently that it happens still in some places in Africa or Asia. But for example, in the East Europe like Poland and Ukraine and Czech and Slovakia, there are worse everyday products like washing powder or chocolate even the brand is the same. They are/were lesser quality.
