Cosmic orange: Flowers to cheer up

in teardrops •  7 years ago

Yesterday, I found this little one at a friends garden. I believe it is a Cosmic Orange and i think its colors are beautiful.

Cosmos are herbaceous perennial plants wich he leaves are simple, pinnate, or bipinnate, and arranged in opposite pairs. The flowers are produced in a capitulum with a ring of broad ray florets and a center of disc florets.
This flower color is very variable between the different species, they go from purple to orange, as you can see in my picture.

While doing some research about this flowers, I came accross a lot of webpages that labeled this flowers as an ornamental plant popular in gardens due to its beautiful colors and great way to light up your garden.

I hope you like them as much as I do!
And never forget to find the beauty and the happiness in the little things!
