So, lately these beautiful flowers have been growing in my garden, and since every time i see them i lighten up, I decided to share them with you. Great bougainvillea or Bougainvillea spectabili is an evergreen, climbing shrub producing stems up to 10 metres long. The plant can support itself on other plants and apparently it has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, properties.
It is a plant usually grown in South America, which makes sense since I live in Venezuela.
The plant also contains pinitol, which is considered to be helpful in the treatment of non-insulin diabetes.
