My Trip To Uyo

in teardrops •  6 years ago

Last year, during my summer vacation. I visited Akwaibom for the first time. I stayed with my mom's uncle, an elderly man of 60 years old, his wife and his children.

He has four children, the first (a boy) is doing his masters in the United Kingdom, the second(a girl) is married to a University Lecturer and their marraige is blessed with a boy of 6 months plus, the third(a girl) is still in the university studing mass communications and the last but not the least(a boy) just recently graduated and is awaiting NYSC.

So basically, I was at home with the last born and we had lots of fun together and I enjoyed my stay.

I have a feeling of nostalgia when writing this piece.
The painful part of this story is that i got a call this morning that the small boys dad died.
I feel so depressed right now
